CHERRY VALLEY, NY – General CADD Products, Inc. announces the release of General CADD Pro Version 2.1. This all-new computer-aided drafting and design software product features a user-friendly two-letter command structure, complete Windows functionality, a powerful Macro programming language, 32-bit accuracy and compatibility with important CADD file formats.

Project leaders for General CADD Pro 2.1 are the programming duo of Matt Brown and Carl Ransdell, well known in CADD circles for their work on Generic CADD, a popular DOS-based drafting software product, and Visual CADD, an early Windows 2D drafting product.

General CADD Pro features an easy-to-learn two-letter command structure favored by many drafting professionals. A variety of Windows dialog boxes are also available for simplified access to such features as dimension settings and text formatting. All commands are available from the Main Windows menu as well as from two-letter keyboard shortcuts. Over 50 new commands and features have been added since Version 1.0!

The price for a single-seat license of General CADD Pro is $499.00 US. This license includes the program and an on-screen manual in HTML format. All future program upgrade releases will cost $399.00. A software maintenance agreement, Support Plus, is available for $199.00 US. The maintenance agreement includes the next major program upgrade, a guaranteed minimum of two quarterly maintenance releases and unlimited Internet-based support. Discounts for multiple licenses are available. Special arrangements for educational institutions are also available.
