Caldera DR-DOS 7.02 is an OS designed to run on the Intel Pentium, i486, 386, 80286, 8088, 8086, and compatible microprocessors. It will operate any IBM compatible computer that has at least 640K of RAM and with free hard disk space of at least 12MB for the full installation. Multitasking requires the 386 CPU or better.

• Year 2000 compliant. The kernel will correct the system date even if your BIOS does not support dates beyond January 1, 2000.

• Co-exists with Windows 95 using the DR-DOS LOADER command.

• Comprehensive DOS utility set complete with extensions, including drivers for CD-ROMS, etc.

• Genuine multitasking, with API for developers.

• Includes 286 DPMS memory manager in addition to DPMI.

• Network client solutions. NetWare 3.x, 4.x, and Personal NetWare. Includes PC-based Personal NetWare server.

• De facto Stacker disk compression.

• NWCACHE is a disk caching program that makes your system run faster by reducing the time it spends waiting for data from disk.

• EMM386 memory manager that supports DPMI and multitasking.

• DOS Protected Mode Services (DPMS). Allows DPMS aware programs to run in protected mode. Included are: DELWATCH, the disk cache (NWCACHE), NWCDX, and the Personal NetWare server (SERVER.EXE).
